Learn how to knit flat using circular needles, and also learn why the heck you would want to do this. I often knit flat knits using circular needles. Here are 4 reasons why: 1. The project is big, like a blanket, or a shawl, so the stitches are too many for straight needles to accommodate, but a long circular will work just fine. 2. The project is heavy and with circulars, the weight of the project is off my wrists and in my lap. 3. I can slide the project onto the cables to keep from dropping stitches making knitting on the go easier. 4.
