It would appear that the Iolite Portable Vaporizer offers a solution, in the form of a completely smokeless tobacco vaporizer. To start with, the Iolite Portable Vaporizer easy enough to use. All you have to do is fill the unit with butane (and I'll have more about the butane in a minute), activate it and wait about one minute until it heats up, then you can fill up the chamber with your tobacco and vaporize away! But I promised more about the Butane, and here it is: a high-quality, triple-filtered butane should always be used in in the Iolite. There is plenty of information on which butanes you should use at the product's website, and if you use a low-quality butane, the unit wont work as well. Also, one reviewer complained that unless you find a brand of butane that comes in a container with a nipple that is compatible with the Iolite, it will be difficult to fill. As well, its important that you keep the Iolite clean, which will keep the vaporizer working properly, thereby maintaining the smoothness of your pulls from it. Fortunately, to that end, they provide baggies for your to carry the unit in But all-in-all, if you don't mind maintaining it and once you figure out how to use the thing, the Iolite Portable Vaporizer serves as a cleaner, scent-and-smoke-free alternative to cigarettes and pipes.
