Juzz 27 of the Holy Quran is rich in powerful messages about faith, divine justice, and the blessings of Allah. It contains seven surahs: 1. Surah Adh-Dhariyat (The Winnowing Winds) - 51:1-60 This surah emphasizes that everything in the universe is a sign of Allah’s existence. It warns against rejecting the message of the prophets, using the stories of past nations like the people of Prophet Lut (AS) and Prophet Musa (AS). It reminds people that their purpose is to worship Allah, as mentioned in the famous verse: وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ "And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me." (51:56) 2. Surah At-Tur (The Mount) - 52:1-49 This surah describes the punishment of the disbelievers and the rewards for the righteous believers in Jannah. The surah paints a beautiful picture of paradise, where the righteous will reunite with their families and enjoy endless blessings. It also warns against rejecting the truth and reminds us that Allah is always watching over His creation. 3. Surah An-Najm (The Star) - 53:1-62 This surah highlights the importance of following the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, as it comes directly from Allah through Angel Jibreel (AS). It mentions the journey of the Miraj (Ascension to the Heavens) and clarifies that salvation comes only through Allah’s mercy, not through idol worship. A key lesson is that every person is responsible for their actions, and no one will bear the burden of another’s sins: وَأَن لَّيْسَ لِلْإِنسَانِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰ "And that man shall only have what he strives for." (53:39) 4. Surah Al-Qamar (The Moon) - 54:1-55 This surah warns of the destruction faced by past nations like the people of Nuh (AS), Ad, Thamud, Lut (AS), and Pharaoh for rejecting their prophets. The surah also highlights the miracle of the moon splitting, which was shown to the Quraysh as proof of the Prophet ﷺ’s truthfulness. The repeated message in this surah is: وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ "And We have certainly made the Quran easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?" (54:17) 5. Surah Ar-Rahman (The Most Merciful) - 55:1-78 This is one of the most beautiful and poetic surahs, describing the blessings of Allah in this world and in Jannah. It mentions two gardens of paradise, filled with flowing rivers, fruits, and companionship. The famous repeated verse: فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ "So which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?" (55:13) teaches gratitude and appreciation for Allah’s endless blessings. 6. Surah Al-Waqi’ah (The Inevitable Event) - 56:1-96 This surah describes the Day of Judgment, where humanity will be divided into three groups: The foremost (Sabiqun) – those closest to Allah, enjoying the highest ranks in Jannah. The companions of the right hand (Ashab-ul-Yameen) – believers who will be rewarded with paradise and its comforts. The companions of the left hand (Ashab-ul-Shimal) – those who rejected faith and will face the torments of Hell. It also emphasizes that the Quran is a revelation from Allah and should be valued. 7. Surah Al-Hadid (The Iron) - 57:1-29 This surah focuses on faith, charity, and the fleeting nature of worldly life. It encourages believers to spend in the way of Allah, as this leads to spiritual growth and rewards in the Hereafter. A key verse: اعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا لَعِبٌۭ وَلَهْوٌۭ وَزِينَةٌۭ وَتَفَاخُرٌۭ بَيْنَكُمْ وَتَكَاثُرٌۭ فِى ٱلْأَمْوَٰلِ وَٱلْأَوْلَٰدِ "Know that the life of this world is only play and amusement, pomp and mutual boasting, and competing in wealth and children." (57:20) Conclusion Juzz 27 is a powerful reminder of Allah’s majesty, the certainty of the Hereafter, and the importance of faith and gratitude. It calls for reflection, submission, and preparation for eternal life. Let this Juzz inspire us to increase our connection with the Quran, live righteously, and seek Allah’s mercy. #Juzz27 #QuranTafseer #IslamicKnowledge #SurahAdhDhariyat #SurahAtTur #SurahAnNajm #SurahAlQamar #SurahArRahman #SurahAlWaqiah #SurahAlHadid #DayOfJudgment #ParadiseAndHell #IslamicReminder #QuranicWisdom #FaithInAllah #IslamicTeachings Aisha Khalid is a very successful business woman and also a teacher of the Holy Quran for many years now.
