MACONI es el testimonio de Salvador González, un inmigrante de origen mexicano de la zona minera de Cadereyta, Querétaro, y que habita en los suburbios de Filadelfia desde hace más de dos décadas. Su reflexión de vida es honesta directa, dura, pero llena de esperanza. En el cortometraje Salvador aborda los retos que tiene la comunidad inmigrante, la violencia de la que es sujeta, y nos da una contra-narrativa que reta las versiones que criminalizan a la comunidad inmigrante en los Estados Unidos, en cambio es una comunidad llena de talento que avanza con creatividad y amor por la vida. His reflection on life is direct, honest, hard, but full of hope. In the short film, Salvador addresses the challenges that the immigrant community has, the violence to which it is subject, and gives us a counter-narrative that challenges the versions that criminalize the immigrant community in the United States.
