-About Megaman X Maverick Wars also known as (ロックマン X マーベリック 戦争 is a Megaman X fangame developed by Pixel Box s.a. Unlike many other unreleased Megaman X fangames, most of Maverick Wars's plot is already known. It was revealed in the first public demo's intro cutscene. The game takes places after the events of Megaman X 8: after getting knocked unconscious by Lumine at the end of X 8, Axl was sent to a observation facility to be quarantined. Said facility was later raided by the Maverick group "Cerberus Fang", led by an unidentified maverick who goes by "Nexus". Axl and the other reploids at the facility were captured. Meanwhile, various cities, facilities and military headquarters were attacked by Cerberus Fang's mavericks.
