While most people have rice cookers that take the guesswork out of the cooking process, this method is slowly becoming a lost art! Learn how to cook rice without burning it ever again! I certainly burnt my rice the first time I tried to cook it years ago! This method works for any amount of rice, although you should increase the cook time by 5 minutes for 4 cups of rice! How much rice should you cook??? 1 cup uncooked jasmine rice = 2 cups cooked All you'll need is: rice mixing bowl saucepot with cover water NO SALT, NO OIL! Instructions: 1. wash your rice in the mixing bowl till water runs clear 2. transfer to sauce pot 3. add enough water till it reached 1cm (or half an inch) above rice level 4. cover and bring to boil on MAX 5. when it just starts to steam, turn to low 6. leave covered and allow to cook 15-20mins 7. shut off heat and let sit at least 5mins 8. fluff rice and serve immediately Easy peesy!
