Shocking Carrier Screening Results: Finding out that I'm a Gray Zone Carrier for Fragile X

This is my first pregnancy and my husband and I decided to get carrier screening to see if we were carriers for any genetic disorders. With most screenings the mom is tested and the dad is only tested if the mom tests positive for anything. I was surprised to find out that I am a "grey zone" or intermediate carrier for Fragile X which is characterized as a genetic disorder with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities. I was very scared and worried when we got the news from the doctor. Please watch the video as I share the details of my experience.
