This headpin design is one I've been teaching for many years now. It's great for beginners who are still a little concerned about using a torch to make headpins. It's also a good one for jewelry pieces that you want to give a more organic look to. Technically speaking, it isn't really a knot. But the way the wire is wrapped does make it look a little like a knot. I do have a PDF version of this tutorial available on my web-site. So, if you prefer to have a photographed step by step version of this design, you can find it here: https://www.WireJewelryTutorials.com/... - If there are any other free tutorials on that page that you'd like to see me do videos for, feel free to let me know in the comments below. :) Materials: Round dead soft or half hard wire ,1” longer than desired length for headpin (I'm using 22 gauge wire in the video, but you can use the gauge you need for your project. This design works best with gauges 28-20) Tools: Flat nose pliers or needle nose pliers (I actually use both in the video, but that isn't necessary) Wire cutters Needle file or sand paper Find more wire jewelry making tutorials at https://www.WireJewelryTutorials.com Don't forget to like Gailavira Jewelry on Facebook! / gailavira See more of my work at https://www.Gailavira.com
