This day didn't go well. It started with a knock at the door in the morning from a BLM Ranger. He informed us that the Snake River Canyon Recreation Area off limits for overnight camping. No signs posted anywhere!! Then after a 4 hour kayaking trip down the Snake River we headed North past Shoshone, ID and checked out one spot we found on iOverlander but after seeing a rattlesnake slither off the campspot we decided to find a different location. It was only 65 degrees and a Snake was out and rattling. We drove down another road (Magic Dam Rd) the leads to Magic Dam and it started raining. It wasn't so magical, the road quickly went from great to horrible. At one point the back started to slide off the road. We were able to get pulled out and out of the road and hope to get back on the road once the mud/clay dries some. If not we'll have another video.
