Meet Dr. Kevin Powell | General Surgeon | NGPG General Surgery

Kevin Powell, MD, is a general surgeon with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group (NGPG) practicing in Dawsonville, GA.  Dr. Powell works with patients to treat a wide range of conditions, including conditions affecting thyroids and parathyroids. He also performs breast surgeries and abdominal surgeries as well as hernia surgery and other procedures. His focus is on minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques to reduce scars and recovery time.   Dr. Kevin Powell attended medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Ohio, where he also pursued a fellowship in surgical education. In his spare time, Dr. Powell enjoys spending time with his daughter who lives in the area.
