महाराष्ट्र के रत्नागिरी जिले के कोलिसरे गाँव में पवित्र शास्त्री नदी के किनारे स्थित लक्ष्मी-केशव देवस्थान, भगवान विष्णु और माता लक्ष्मी को समर्पित एक शांत और सुंदर मंदिर है। पहाड़ी क्षेत्र में स्थित इस मंदिर तक पहुँचने के लिए सीढ़ियाँ उतरनी पड़ती हैं, जहाँ प्राकृतिक जल का स्रोत भक्तों के हाथ-पैर धोने के लिए उपलब्ध है। कोंकण शैली में निर्मित मंदिर के हॉल में अनेक स्तंभ हैं और गर्भगृह में नेपाल की गंडकी नदी से लाए गए शालिग्राम पत्थर से बनी लगभग पाँच फीट ऊँची लक्ष्मी-केशव की मनमोहक मूर्ति स्थापित है, जिसके बाईं ओर लक्ष्मी और दाईं ओर गरुड़ की प्रतिमाएँ हैं। कथा के अनुसार, 12वीं शताब्दी में तीन स्वप्नदृष्टाओं को कोल्हापुर के रंकाला तालाब में डूबी मूर्ति का पता चला। जब वे इसे वापस ला रहे थे, तो मूर्ति कोलिसरे में स्थापित होने की इच्छा व्यक्त की। कार्तिक शुद्ध दशमी और पूर्णिमा यहाँ विशेष रूप से मनाए जाते हैं। परिसर में हनुमान और शिव के मंदिर भी स्थित हैं। रत्नागिरी से लगभग 40 किलोमीटर दूर यह मंदिर प्रकृति और आध्यात्मिकता का एक अद्भुत संगम है। Nestled on the serene banks of the sacred Shastri River in Kolisare village of Ratnagiri district, Maharashtra, the Lakshmi-Keshav Devasthan is a peaceful and spiritually uplifting temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. Surrounded by the scenic beauty of the Konkan hills, this ancient temple offers devotees a divine atmosphere filled with tranquility and devotion. To reach the temple, visitors descend a series of steps leading into the valley where a natural spring provides water for devotees to wash their hands and feet before entering the shrine. Built in traditional Konkan architectural style, the temple hall features several beautifully aligned pillars that add to its spiritual charm. The sanctum houses a magnificent five-foot-tall idol of Lakshmi-Keshav carved from sacred Shaligram stone brought from the Gandaki River in Nepal. The idol depicts Lord Keshav (Vishnu) in the center, with Goddess Lakshmi on the left and Garuda on the right, creating a captivating and divine sight for devotees. According to local legend, in the 12th century, three devotees received a divine dream revealing that the sacred idol was submerged in the Rankala Lake of Kolhapur. When they retrieved the idol and began their journey back, the deity expressed a wish to be installed in Kolisare, where the temple now stands. The temple celebrates Kartik Shuddha Dashami and Kartik Purnima with great devotion and festive rituals. Within the temple complex, there are also shrines dedicated to Lord Hanuman and Lord Shiva, making the site a spiritually enriching destination for devotees.
