From time to time I want to bring some Leica history to my channel. This episode here shows my Leica IIIf and an ingenious mechanical self-timer, the Leica Apdoo. In the video I live demo how the Leica IIIf shutter mechanics works and how to operate the Leica Apdoo for remote automatic shutter release. My Leica IIIf is a special camera since it actually is (in German language) “Leitz Eigentum”, means, was never intended for sale and supposed to stay at the Leitz Headquarter for internal purposes. For your info: the lens on my Leica IIIf is the Leitz Elmar f=5cm f/2.8. If you like my content and the nerdy stuff I am producing, please subscribe, like my videos and share them for a broader reach and audience. Many thanks for that!
