A Chinese Wireless Electronic Groupset - Wheeltop EDS TX - First look

A Chinese electronic groupset that really pushes the boundaries, and could easily rival Shimano, SRAM, Campagnolo, AND L-TWOO. Last year, L-TWOO released the first electronic drop bar groupset from a Chinese manufacturer, their ERX. It was pretty groundbreaking, and although it had its issues, I’ve really enjoyed using it. Wheeltop has now entered the game! In 2022 Wheeltop released their EDS OX, an electronic mountain bike groupset, and have been working on this bike in the background ever since. It’s IPX67 water resistant, completely wireless, offers 7-13 speed cassette compatibility, is available in both hydraulic disc brake, and rim brake version, and prices start at just £650! In this unboxing, I'll give you my first impressions, show you the build quality, take you through the companion app, and ultimately show you a small issue I faced with the front derailleur.
