Dominate the Fight: The Army's Synthetic Training Environment (Titles Updated)

The US Army must dominate the fight in complex operating environments and be able to win in any domain. To achieve this, the Army must modernize its way of training. The Synthetic Training Environment (STE) will provide immersive and intuitive capabilities that keep pace with a changing operational environment, giving Commanders the ability to overcome today’s limitations and take on the challenges of tomorrow. The STE will leverage advancements in virtual reality, big data analysis, artificial intelligence, reconfigurable virtual collective trainers, and terrain representation to make this possible.
