Sao Jorge Island, Azores... known as the brown island is my second most favorite island. If you love nature and outdoor activities, this is the island to come to. If you plan to come here, plan to stay for at least one week. There are some areas you can only get to by hiking. Definitely try to go canyoning to rappel down some waterfalls and cliff jump.
