The Trollshaws is a vast woodland in the eastern stretches of Eriador. It is a forested area filled with pine and beech trees, giving the area an autumnal colour scheme. It became known as the Trollshaws after the lands of Rhudaur were cast into ruin, and evil trolls came to inhabit the forests of the region. Now, its vales are covered with ruins -- remnants of that lost civilization -- and are currently commonly patrolled by the Elves of Rivendell who dwell in the hidden Rivendell Valley at the foothills of the Misty Mountains. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 00:00 - 01.
