Through Driven, DeAngelo is helping cities like St. Mary’s, Georgia make it easier for residents to pay traffic fines and fees while helping municipalities increase collections and revenue. “We’re building the buy-now-pay-later rails for the public sector,” DeAngelo shared. “In Georgia alone, millions of dollars in unpaid fines can be recovered by giving residents flexible options to meet their civic obligations.” DeAngelo joined the gBETA Social Impact program in Fall 2021, where hands-on mentorship, investor swarms, and a tight-knit community helped him move faster and think bigger.
