Horizon Call of the Mountain is a genuinely stunning game, it's easily some of the best VR graphics I've seen to date and one of the best PSVR 2 games in terms of visuals. However that game suffered from some particularly bad reprojection that made it's gorgeous environments look blurry or at times simple out of focus. Enter Red Matter 2 for the PSVR 2, a port of the most technically impressive Quest 2 game has now arrived on Sony's new VR headset and it is taking full advantage of the additional power of the PSVR 2 and it's incredible features (the OLED screen and higher resolution really shine here), meaning Red Matter 2 is now quite easily the best looking PSVR 2 game around. With no reprojection, a silky smooth high framerate and some of the cleanest environmental visuals you could ever hope to see the Red Matter 2 PSVR 2 port is a no brainer for anyone who want's to see just how stunning VR can be when handled by the right team. This Red Matter PSVR 2 gameplay was captured from an early build of the game and is sadly only displayed to spectators at 30fps, this means the capture looks far less impressive than what is displayed in headset. Red Matter 2 is a slow burn, adventure puzzle game with a high emphasis on story telling and exploration. If you're a fan of games like Myst but perhaps don't want something quite that difficult, or maybe you just want to see the very best VR graphics you've ever seen then Red Matter 2 will be well worth your time and investment.
