My Epic Hillstream Loach Tank

A beautiful look at a large family of reticulated hillstream loaches that live in a 40 gallon river style tank. I show how I remove hair algae, and maintain the tank, as well as my plans for the future. These odd little fish (Sewellia lineolata) don't need to be kept in fast moving water and will be just fine with a sponge filter as long as the water is clean. However, their water should be kept moving and oxygenated especially as the temperature of the water increases in the warm summer months. My tank water sometimes get's up into the low 80s during the summer and these fish have been just fine.
