As someone who works on ships and travels for a living, people assume I don't want to vacation. But the truth is, I have dreams too, and Antarctica is at the top of my list. It's the one continent I haven't explored yet, and it's my bucket list dream. Why Antarctica? Antarctica represents something different for me & it's untouched, it's the last frontier, and it's the final continent I need to check off. Working at sea has shown me the world, but there's something about Antarctica that calls to me. It's not just about the destination; it's about completing a personal journey. The reality of traveling for work: When you're on a ship contract for 3-4 months at a time, people think you're living the dream and don't need vacations. But vacation means something different when your job is travel. It means choosing where you want to go, on your terms, with people you love.
