Research ethics – why train educators?

On 3-4 April 2025, the irecs team hosted a Train-the-Trainer event at the Amsterdam UMC in Amsterdam, Netherlands to support trainers from across the world in implementing the content of the irecs training modules within their unique contexts. In this video, our trainers Mariëtte Van Den Hoven, Susan Berentsen, Giulia Inguaggiato, and Clàudia Pallisé Perelló share their thoughts on why it’s important to train research ethics and integrity trainers and educators. irecs is funded by the European Union.
