Danil "donk" Kryshkovets was named Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 MVP after Spirit's 2-1 victory over FaZe in the grand final. The 17-year-old phenom has become the youngest-ever Major champion and MVP at 17 years and 324 days, breaking both records which were set by Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye at the ELEAGUE Major in 2017 (18 years and 277 days). This is donk's first Major MVP, which he adds to a cabinet alongside five more individual accolades — four from 2024, his first full year of play and officially his rookie year —, including one from IEM Katowice. donk did so with a lights-out campaign in which he also become the highest-rated Major MVP (Elimination Stage and Playoffs) with a 1.49 rating, beating out Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev's 1.47 at PGL Stockholm.
