Senior Hiker on Mt Roberts, Ossipee Range, Moultonborough, NH

Mt. Roberts is one of my favorite short hikes in NH. It’s part of the Ossipee Range and is located by Castle in the Clouds, Moultonborough NH and is on the NH 52 With a View list. It’s a 5 mile out and back that has magnificent views of Lake Winnipesauke from its many open ledges while ascending. The summit also affords a fine view of the Sandwich Range and mountains to the north. If conditions are right you can see Mount Washington. It also connects to a network of trails and peaks throughout the Castle in the Clouds Conservation area should you opt for a longer hike.
