THE STAKEHOLDERS FORUM, EPE HOLDS SOUL-LIFTING ANNUAL RAMADAN LECTURE.

It was a moment of deep reflection, renewed faith, and a collective search for divine guidance as the holy month of Ramadan commenced. The foremost socio-cultural association, The Stakeholders Forum, Epe, held its Annual Ramadan Lecture at the Club Secretariat, Isale-Agoro, Epe. The lecture was delivered by Engr. Abd. Kareem Temitope Yusuf of the Department of Chemical and Polymer Engineering, Lagos State University. The thought-provoking topic, “The Rights of Our Neighbours – An Islamic Perspective,” resonated deeply with attendees. In his enlightening presentation, Engr. Abd. Kareem dwelled extensively on the teachings and exemplary lifestyle of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), particularly highlighting how he related with his neighbours irrespective of their faith or background. He emphasized that Islam places immense value on kindness, compassion, and mutual respect among neighbours. The lecturer further outlined the numerous benefits of maintaining good neighbourly relationships, stressing that harmonious coexistence fosters peace, unity, and community development. He urged Muslims to embody good character and uphold the rights of their neighbours in strict accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet. Speaking with Epe Lawa shortly after the lecture, the Chairman of the Stakeholders Forum, Alhaji Jimoh Shamsideen, expressed heartfelt appreciation to members and guests for their attendance. He noted that although the Forum’s annual Ramadan lecture is traditionally elaborate, this year’s edition was intentionally low-key due to certain prevailing circumstances. He encouraged members to remain worthy ambassadors of both the Forum and Epe Division at large. Reaffirming the Forum’s commitment to progress, he assured that the association would continue to embark on impactful programmes aimed at fostering unprecedented development across Epe Division.
