In fact this was probably the worst gig I have ever been at!... not because of the band - they were great - but 'cause it was just too loud, painfully loud! I was wearing earplugs and still the volume level was was such that after 3 songs I couldn't hear a thing and was almost physically ill! Of course I was right infront of the speaker taking videos and some people did move back but it was rammed so hardly any room. The Ironic thing was that I was wearing a T-shirt with a volume knob on it that went to 11. The soundman was introduced as "John who made our ears bleed!"...and he did!! Black Spiders return to Bannerman's Bar on Fri 20th Feb 2026 you have been warned!
