Setup and Configuration for the MinimOSD with FTDI adapter and wiring to the APM is covered as well as configuration of the EZUHF LRS receiver with connection by PPM to channel 1 on the APM flight controller. We focus on using the MinimOSD configuration tool to load the character set and firmware hex file the use the configuration tool to place or move items on the OSD screen. Remember to update the V2.4 character set first with the old firmware on the MinimOSD because the new V2.4 firmware does not have a character set loader and will fail to update the characters. After connecting the GPS Compass module I found out that the External Compass Jumper has to be removed for the compass in the GPS puck to work. See Modified Wiring Diagram below.
