Today we are going to learn a lesson from the story of Hosea. Which we can find in the book of Hosea 1:2-9.The topic that I am going to share at this time is “The church and the destitute world”. When the Lord began speaking to Israel through Hosea, he said to him, “Go and marry a prostitute, so that some of her children will be conceived in prostitution. Hosea’s prophecy gives Israel a concrete example of its spiritual idolatry, but it also represents God’s love for Israel in spite of her spiritual adultery. It formed a national call to repentance. God tells this Holy man to marry a woman with a bad reputation, a reputation for unfaithfulness, a woman who is sure to break Hosea’s heart. In the standard wedding vows, a couple makes a promise to love and cherish each other and to be faithful to one another. Therefore, my beloved friends God has chosen us to be His instrument as God used Hosea to marry a prostitute woman and now God is calling us to marry the destitute world in the sense to change the structure of destitute world into a beautiful World. Hope this short message will give us strength to walk forward and spread the word of god and make this destitute world into a beautiful world.
