General Officer Commanding of Counter-Insurgency Force Delta, Major General A P S Bal, termed the elimination of the Saifullah group a major success, calling them the fulcrum of the terror network in the region. He said seven terrorists were neutralised during Operation Trashi-I, describing it as the result of months of planning, perseverance and seamless coordination among the Army, J&K Police and CRPF. He highlighted that the operation concluded without casualties to troops, except for Army dog Tyson, who initiated contact. The officer also indicated that the terrorists had a local support system, adding that police were aware and would take action. The Indian Army’s White Knight Corps said the 326-day high-altitude operation in Kishtwar used drones, satellite imagery and intelligence inputs to eliminate all seven terrorists. #optrashi1 #kishtwar #whiteknightcorps #indianarmy #jandk #counterinsurgency #terroristsneutralized #cifdelta #crpf #jkpolice #securityforces #kashmirnews #jaish #indiansecurity —————————————————————————————————————————— TOI Bharat – Your Window to India And Its Neighbourhood TOI Bharat delivers the latest news, biggest voices, sharpest views and in-depth coverage of India’s political, social and economic landscape.
