Filmed on Monday, January 15 2024, I drive the I-94 from Lawrence, Michigan to the Indiana state line on very slippery snow-covered roads. Over the course of this drive I spotted nearly a dozen cars that had slid off the highway. About half way through the video you will see a semi truck that comes to a dead stop in the center lane. What you don't see (that I could see in the rear-view mirror after passing), was another truck attempting to pass on the right getting stuck in the exact same spot. So two lanes were then blocked off. What a disaster! That section of the road was insanely slippery - I could feel my tires spin as I ascended the small hill. After my last exit near the end of the video, when getting back to the highway you can enjoy me driving the wrong way up an exit ramp, trying to drive up a hill to get on the correct ramp, nearly getting my car stuck, and reversing back to safety. Close one! During the course of this drive I exited the highway several times to make sure my camera wasn't frozen and to change the batteries so you can enjoy my miserable experience without any cuts or jumps. It was also nice to take lots of breaks, because this drive was very stressful. I couldn't believe the cars zipping past me. My total drive was supposed to take around 4.5 hours, but thanks to the road conditions it was a 7.5 hour trip. Michigan, I love you, but we need to take a break for a couple of months... #driving #drivingtour #travel
