Back in 1958, only 50 of these were built by the Works for homologation, featuring advanced four-wheel Dunlop disc brakes, a pioneering feature at the time. Of those, it’s believed just 15 were right-hand drive, with 3 becoming Healey team Works cars. Most of the 35 left-hand drive models found their way to the USA. The Healey Motor Company never officially catalogued the 100/6S, making it an ultra-rare special edition. Given the four-wheel disc brakes, this car is almost certainly one of those exceptional ‘S’ models. A true collector’s classic, echoing the prototype that ran in the legendary Mille Miglia. Finished in Healey Blue and Old English White, this car comes with a Heritage Certificate dated 14th March 1958, original specifications including Dunlop Road Speed tyres, heater, overdrive, and an MPH speedometer.
