Four thousand years ago, stone was man's closest companion and most important tool. Later, stone utensils were gradually replaced by sharper and stronger metal utensils over time. But this does not affect people's love for stones, and people even give stone a meaning beyond practical tools: From the stone carvings of various shapes that were used in sacrificial activities; to the sarcophagus in the form of line carving admired by the nobles of the Tang Dynasty; to the stone tablets that have gained new vitality due to the rendering of art, and to stones used as building materials like in Yujia Village and etc., in modern times. All of these prove to us that stone carvings and tablets have become solidified history, entrusting people's thoughts and hopes, carrying and continuing human civilization.
