Common MTK ringtones, the way they were meant to be played (MT6225) "Tones" are used as notification tones. What are the Common MTK ringtones? These are ringtones that can be found on mobile phones based on a MediaTek chipset and run the MediaTek MAUI operating system. A lot of Chinese Shanzhai phones include these and a few legit branded phones (ZTE, Huawei, MobiWire) also include them. Some, most or all of these could be excluded from certain phones though (especially newer ones with the MT626x chipset due to the 4MB limit) , it depends on which ringtones the manufacturer has decided to include. The same applies for the order of the ringtones (for example MIDI 11 might be MIDI 1) and while it's uncommon, it does apply for a few devices. These are actually meant to be looped indefinitely and not played once. Since those are iMelody and MIDI files, different MTK chipsets with different synths will change the way these ringtones sound. There are a couple of interesting ringtones (such as the MMS and EMS tones) that I don't know what they are, if you do, please let me know! (I doubt anyone does) The phone that I used to make this video, as far as I know, has got an MT6223 processor which is probably a cut down version of the MT6225 but it's got the same synth as the MT6225. Video made with Clipchamp. Recorded from ZTE R222.
