. 0:00 Sincerely 2:07 Will 4:48 Michishirube 6:49 Across the Violet Sky 9:54 Coda This is my first ever piano medley! What do you guys think of it? As always, feedback is welcome. Violet Evergarden is one of my favourite animes so far(because I barely watch any) and one of the reasons is because of its amazing soundtracks. Animes go far with good soundtracks. I chose these four songs because they are more known, but it’s also because these are easier to arrange for me. Firstly, my Sincerely Arrangement. Its the opening so why not start with it. Mine sounds a bit like Animenz’s arrangement, but I did put my own patterns. The same comments can be said with my Will arrangement. I changed some chord progressions for song. I even added an easy three-hand technique section near the end. Next was Michishirube. Everyone knows that this is the ending theme, but what if it sounded like an anime opening? I did this to change the mood and surprise the listener. This is probably the most original part of the medley. The tempo for this one is between 100-110 bpm. I used all sorts of techniques that are found in anime op arrangements on piano: Octaves, Jumps, and chords. You might notice that the intro of this song sounds like Animenz’s Imagination Haikyuu arrangement. Yeah it does, and thats where I got it from. This is my favourite part of the medley because pf how original it is. I tried to mimic a band on piano with this one. And lastly, Across the Violet Sky along with the coda in the same key. This was the most difficult piece in the arrangement. It had manu jumps, runs, and the coda had three-hand technique with huge jumps. This part took up most of the hours of my practice sessions. I chose this piece in particular because it’s my favourite of the entire soundtrack. Although I didn’t match the original and some of it sounds repeated, i still had a lot of fun playing and arranging this final piece. For the coda, I simply repeated the theme that is repeated in Violet Evergarden soundtracks. That theme is basically the 5th, the 2nd and the 3rd on a major scale(sorry to those who dont know theory). I simply wanted a grand ending and I think I did exactly that. That’s it for this description. It’s really late, but better than never. Next upload: Avid-86 Animenz arrangement #anipiano #pianomedley #violetevergarden
