Players: AsthenicFan830 (Blademaster), technihil (Demolitions) I expected us to be on this map for quite some time, since it is considered to be one of the hardest ones in Boss Rush, but we somehow managed to beat it pretty much first try. We only restarted twice, on Wave 1 and 2, because the Fabricator was destroyed both times. Very nice – although I guess the one slight drawback with beating it that quickly was that we didn't know exactly how to play the map, since we had never attempted it before (I had beaten it once, but as Blademaster). For example, I was a bit unfamiliar with enemy spawn points and pathing – and it was also frustrating that the bird sometimes semi-glitched and stayed underground until the end of some waves. So the run had a couple of somewhat awkward moments due to the above (also including my two deaths in a row at the end of Wave 8) – but considering that this was pretty much a first try, I would say that we did quite well overall. My Cards: Bullet Boost / Razor Hail / Custom Lancer GL / Custom Boomshot / Officer's Prerogative ABOUT BOSS RUSH Boss Rush in Gears 5 consists of ten waves in which you will face numerous bosses and mini-bosses that are backed up by some regular enemies. Like many of the shorter modes in Gears 5 Horde, the emphasis is more on pure fighting, with fewer resources at your disposal, which is why I generally prefer these to the standard 50 waves, as they are more intense and fast-paced.
