This "tightness" of the hips can limit movement in a variety of directions and lead to involvement & pain in the back as well as the hips. _ Even as a long-time yoga practitioner, I struggled with Hip Capsule Impingement. This manifested as limitations in forward bends. No matter how much stretching of the hamstrings, I could not improve the position. _ After many frustrating years, I came across an article describing Acetabular Impingement Syndrome, and for me the light went on.
