WRTV News is the ABC affiliate and E.W. Scripps owned TV station serving the Indianapolis, IN area. Very recently within the past few days, WRTV made the debut of a brand new voiceover artist being used on the news open, switching away from Donovan Corneetz over to--believe me or not--an AI generated voiceover artist. To be exact with this new voiceover artist, this is actually from one of the ElevenLabs TTS voices that are available. Specifically, this ElevenLabs TTS voice name being used is "Brian". https://json2video.com/ai-voices/elev... As far as I know, WRTV is the first Scripps station who has implemented this AI voiceover artist concept. This all comes in news that Scripps has begun to make some changes of where they have ditched human voiceover artist contracts, causing a shift of where Scripps want to use AI for voiceover artists. Scripps has lately been trying to embrace and add-onto the usage of AI, which also explains the cause of this significant change occuring towards the E.W. Scripps owned stations. Aside from the voiceover artist change, nothing else has changed and the same old Scripps 2019 graphics and SAM's "Scripps Custom" music package all still remain on-air over at WRTV. For some odd reason, not all opens at WRTV have the new voiceover artist implented in just yet.
