I Moved From America to Finland

I moved from the United States to Finland. It seemed simple on paper, but was I really prepared for the challenges I would face? I arrived at the snowy Helsinki airport, the blue dark glowing from the clouds. I had taken a giant leap of faith, yet I felt completely calm. I left behind my friends and family to start a completely new life. This series will follow many different aspects of my integrating into Finnish culture. Thus far it has honestly helped me process my own feelings of loneliness so far. However I am also so excited to share the beautiful moments. I love this place. The air is so fresh. The nature bountiful. It snows every week and it is never not breathtaking. I am so happy I am home. Would you ever consider moving to Finland?
