The Graveyard - Arnos Vale, Bristol, UK

A collaborative film project about local people's relationship to Arnos Vale Cemetery as a wild space within Bristol, UK. The project focused on the atmosphere and wildlife of the cemetery with interviews from local people who use the cemetery in a multitude of different ways. It was inspired from working on the multimedia project 2020Vision (hhtp://www.2020v.org) in 2011/12. Here importance was given to promoting natural habitats while showing the value in terms of health and wellbeing that these spaces bring to humans. Arnos Vale is a 65-acre Victorian cemetery in the heart of Bristol city. It is a haven for wildlife and much loved by both those people remembering loved ones who are buried or cremated there or by those who simply use the space to connect with nature.
