Herbert Cams Steen & Sons Streamliner Movie 2004

This movie is about the final year that the Herbert/Steen Fuel Streamliner was in use. Short film shot and edited by Dan Robison in the early 2000s. This video highlights the troubles faced trying to take the streamliner down the course at the Bonneville Salt Flats even just once! This video was pulled from an old DVD in an attempt to preserve old media before it was lost. There are other videos featuring the same subject matter on my channel that were pulled from VHS tapes in the same effort to preserve media. Due to the medium this video was on, some skipping and bad spots in the DVD are inevitable (Specifically at around the 8:00 mark as well as the 20:06 mark). There is also a scene of the car leaving the starting line that is played twice. First at 18:38 beginning with Clayton suiting up, then again at 23:56 the same reel of Clayton suiting up and leaving the starting line is used. The viewer is lead to believe those two scenes were at least 3 weeks apart.
