Have you ever been to Buffy’s Doublemeat Palace? This classic Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode is both hated and celebrated. But, what’s it all about? Let’s just say there’s more than meats the eye. 🥩 A couple of disclaimers! 1) I last watched Buffy, in full, 10 or so years ago. I loved it. While making this video, I walk the line of sharing too little or too much info on characters, places, and plot points. Ultimately, I chose to OMIT info to avoid spoilers. :) If you found my summary or descriptions lacking, this might have been a contributing factor. 2) It’s difficult to address in the context of this lighthearted video. But, RIP Michelle Trachtenberg. She was such a wonderful addition to this series. Oh! And, I brushed up on Halfrek’s story as well. I really like her character. 😭 I can’t wait to chat with you about this one in the comments. Are you a fan or is this an instant skip when you re-watch the series? Let me know! Remember, this is our little nostalgic corner of the internet (yours & mine 🧛♀️)! I’m so glad you're here. :,) CHAPTERS: 0:00 Intro 0:40 Brief context 1:27 Act 1 - Welcome to DMP 6:24 Act 2 - DMP is Serving People?? 7:42 Act 3 - Buffy Vs. Think: a loving recap of Disney Channel’s Weekenders. Or, the story of why I re-watched Zombies 10 times in one month. Forgotten DCOMs & Nickelodeon shows, too. 🫰
