Hello all. Back in June, following our trip through Dovre, Singi and I drove a bit south to explore a bit more. I had studied a map of the area the night before, squeezed into my tiny car and thought this area looked promising. A big selling point was defiantly the almost constant view to Rondane National Park to the west. So we went, and spend three days up on the mountain. It was during midsummer in June, but summer hadn't fully arrived yet. The temperature dropped below zero each night, and the weather alternated between sun and rain, and with strong winds most of the time. You'll see that in most of the drone videos - they are a bit shaky. Apologies, but the little thing did the best thing it could. Something not shoved in this video was, that our last night I was woken by Singi at around 2 in the morning. A storm had appeared out of nowhere and the tent was fighting for its life to stay on the ground. So Singi was a bit scared, or at least uncomfortable. So I decided to pack up and hike the last three hours back to the car. That's the good thing by hiking around midsummer in the north: Plenty of daylight. The hike back down and through the forest, with the moon hanging above us, was honestly a great experience. AND the restroom where I had parked the car (by a entry point to Rondane) had warm water. What a luxury. A great little adventure.
