This color way not only adds detail and refinement to your outfit but also just as versatile as the safe options. In this video I’m going to go over in detail how to pull these off with just about anything. Like most of us, when it comes to shoes, we typically reach for or purchase multiple pairs of black and brown shoes. And I don’t blame you, I do the same thing. It’s a staple color, it’s versatile and it’s always a safe bet. But I’m going to try to give a little nudge to try a different color that stands out a bit more than what your friends are wearing but at the same time it’s not EXTRA or going overboard. Now going more into detail of the color oxblood. It’s a deep, rich colour with a dark tone. Many would also call this a deep burgundy, which has a purple and brown undertone to it. Because it has a mix of tones, it makes this color versatile enough to pull off with many outfits while at the same time adding a pop of color and sexiness. So the shoes that I’m working with here are a pair of the dean oxfords here form Beckett Simonon. Which is a formal style shoe but you can use other style shoe with these outfits as well, like a Chelsea boot or a monk strap. So remember I said these shoes are as versatile as your black and brown shoes and what are the two most versatile colored suits you can wear? Navy and charcoal grey! Check it out, look how well these oxblood shoes go with both colored suits. This colored shoe can really lift neutral outfit and can also work with stronger tones such as navy. And if you want to add a little more vibrancy to the outfit and make a statement with your oxblood shoes then experiment with accessories such as your tie and pocket square. Next were gonna tone it down to the business casual side here. As you can see, I went with neutral colors for the first two outfits and liven it up a bit by adding a splash of that oxblood color with the shoes. As for the last outfit, went a little more bold with this one. Starting from dark tone at the bottom with those oxblood shoes and working up to a lighter tone at the top with the shirt.
