Asakusa Day Trip - Sensoji, Nakamise Street, Tokyo SkyTree | 4K

••Asakusa is a district in Tokyo known for the famous Sensoji Temple and Nakamise Shopping Street. Tokyo Sky Tree is also close by and worth checking out! Asakusa is home to Sensoji Temple and has different halls. It's wonderful walking around the area during both day and night. A major plus is a shopping street called Nakamise Shopping Street or Nakamise Dori. This street is lined with vendors that sell Japanese souvenirs and local food. Just make sure not to walk and eat at the same time! Once you've explored Nakamise Shopping Street and Sensoji, walk 9 minutes (check google maps) to find Kappabashi Utensils Street for unique and authentic Japanese knives. We ate at Tempura Akimitsu and I highly recommend it! The food was just delicious! Then, head to Tokyo Sky Tree through the Sumida River walk. It's especially beautiful at night. Sumida Aquarium and Tokyo Sky Tree are located in the same building. The aquarium was a little pricey, but my son loved it. Highly recommend going to Tokyo Sky Tree for sure!
