A young doctor spent years in villages to save lives of the poor

There are close to 90 million members in the Communist Party of China (CPC). A vast majority of them are ordinary people, working at the grass-root level. A select group, is at this year’s 19th CPC National Congress as delegates, in recognition of their outstanding contributions in service to the people. One of them is a doctor, who has been providing service for many years to people in underdeveloped rural areas in north China’s Shanxi Province. CGTN reporter Hu Chao went there to witness his work.
