Dramatic footage shows the moment a flood wall collapsed and sent what a resident described as “a tidal surge” through a small town of central England on November 24. Video by Matthew Bond shows a torrent of water gushing down Tenbury Wells, with one person shouting, “Everyone get back!” Bond told Storyful that Tenbury Wells has a “fairly old” flood wall, which collapsed as Storm Bert hit the area. “I was shocked, last time it was this bad was in 2007”, Bond said, adding that he was “concerned for the shop owners” as the run up to Christmas has started.
