Lodi 2020 - Mrs. Jones' Revenge (CCR Tribute)

We were surprised and honored to be the first live band back to perform on a Saturday night in our city of 125,000+ as soon as the venue was able to figure out how to navigate the county and state's stringent Phase 2.5 easing of Covid lock-down restrictions. May 23rd, 2002 to kick off Memorial Day Weekend. This is the first time we've performed together since February 1st. The dance floor is gone for the time being, along with a lot of the tables, which were all spaced out for "social distancing". Both staff and guests respected the protocols and people were free to dance by their tables - and a lot of them did. It felt good to finally be approaching some semblance of normalcy after these last couple of months. Our tribute cover of Creedence Clearwater Revival's Lodi was recorded live and mixed down from a 16-track master generated from our Mackie DL-32R mixer with 4k video generated by two Mevo cams front of stage. We'd like to think that John Fogarty would approve. Most likely, we'll never know... Stuck in obscurity again... ;-) UPDATE: After nearly 10 years, Mrs. Jones' Revenge disbanded on June 8th, 2020 and there will be no future concert dates. The band thanks all of our supporters and fans who have encouraged us through both good times and bad. All good things must and do end. It's just a matter of how and when. MJR ended suddenly with little fanfare. This video turns out to be from our farewell performance, two weeks before we even knew it was over.
