As part of our film on the heritage of Prestatyn and Meliden we look at one of Denbighshire's best kept secrets - the Roman Bath House site in Melyd Avenue, Prestatyn. We interviewed Fiona Gale, Denbighshire's County Archeaologist who tells us the history of the site and its importance to the Romans. Also, it was great to have Paul and Cellan from Park in the Past to portray a typical Roman soldier and how the bath house was used by the Romans. They are undertaking a fascinating project in Hope where they are planning to build a Roman fort on land that was once used for quarrying.
