Early training is an important part of raising a young horse, and with a foal this young the key is to keep lessons short, simple, and positive. In this video we begin the first steps of halter training our Clydesdale foal, introducing her to the halter and helping her learn to accept gentle guidance. With newborn foals, you have to move slowly and be careful not to overwhelm them.
