This 2nd episode of 𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗗𝗗𝗜𝗧𝗬 (𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝘅 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱) features 𝗝𝗮𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗻, a professional theatre actor with extensive knowledge and experience in the performing arts and theatre education scene in Singapore, along with 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝗻, a versatile ‘World Music percussionist/drummer with a burning desire to push boundaries in establishing ethnic drumming in contemporary settings. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘄. . . 𝗠𝗜𝗔𝗢 𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 淼舞 is proud to present 𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗗𝗗𝗜𝗧𝗬 (𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝘅 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱), an hour long improvisation jam between one theatre practitioner and one musician / sound artist. . . Exploring the intersectionalities and possibilities of the sonic and physical realms, the performance project aims to promulgate the concepts of improvisation, exploration, experimentation and collision. . . Artists are challenged to meet on the afternoon of performance day at 5pm to discuss their strategies (if any) for the evening's improvisation performance at 8pm.
