"Denali 119" is a perfect North facing mountain for novice to advanced pilots. Easy 45 minute hike up to launches facing W-N-E. Also, there are SE-SW facing launches closer to Cantwell. Launches face all wind directions, with a preferable light wind forecast, summer cumulus regularly form at 6,000' (just above launch) to 8,000' or higher over the mountains and valleys. Once at cloud base, gliders can fly the clouds for long distances to the East along the dirt Denali highway and SW along the Parks highway. Smooth Skies - Then we fly!
